"Bab es Salam" is a home for orphaned children based on an Islamic upbringing, and provides the best possible care for children who want to be part of a family. We are based in Lagos, Nigeria.

The home has always survived on charitable donations and pledges, and the staff are handpicked by the founding team who still keep a close control over the discipline, hygiene and guidance of the children to ensure they are brought up as a family in a healthy Islamic environment.

"Bab es Salam" has been the inspiration to start a whole series of projects in Nigeria to provide underprivaleged people with the basic necessities that so many people throughout the developed world enjoy, such as drinking water, schools, and mosques amongst a host of other necessities.
